Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg, known simply as Kunsten, is North Jutland's leading art museum and a masterpiece of modern architecture in its own right. Built between 1968 and 1972 and completed in June 1972, it was designed by the celebrated Finnish architects Alvar and Elissa Aalto together with the Danish architect Jean-Jacques Baruël.
