Høve

Høve

Høve is a quiet village in the Odsherred district of northwest Zealand, set among the gentle hills and open farmland that rise toward Vejrhøj and the Bronze Age landscapes nearby. Just west of the village stretches Høve Strand, a broad sandy beach on Sejerø Bay where shallow water and dunes draw families and swimmers through the summer months. Small holiday-home neighbourhoods spread inland, sheltered by pine and hedgerows, while the surrounding countryside offers cycling routes and walking paths across a region shaped by the last Ice Age. Close to the towns of Asnæs and Vig, Høve makes an easy base for exploring Odsherred's coastline, its artist heritage and its celebrated light. Days here move slowly: sea, sky, fields and long beach walks define a distinctly Danish summer retreat.
