Hejsager is a small village in South Jutland, a few kilometres southeast of Haderslev, where gently rolling farmland meets the coast of the Little Belt. The place is best known for Hejsager Strand, a quiet bathing spot where low cliffs, summer cottages and a narrow belt of woodland frame a flat, child-friendly sandy beach. There are views across the water toward the islands of Als and Funen, and on calm days sailboats drift through the narrow strait.
