Hårlev is a quiet railway town in the heart of Stevns Municipality on eastern Zealand, surrounded by the open, fertile farmland that defines this corner of Denmark. The town grew up around the railway and remains a junction on the Østbanen line, where the tracks split toward Rødvig and Faxe Ladeplads. That makes Hårlev a practical base for exploring the Stevns peninsula without a car.
