Gislinge is a small village in Holbæk Municipality, on the Tuse Næs peninsula in northwestern Zealand. It sits amid the flat, fertile farmland around Lammefjord, close to the shores of Holbæk Fjord. The village gives its name to the Gislinge boat, a small clinker-built vessel from the Viking Age whose reconstruction plans were released freely by the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. Quiet streets, a whitewashed church, and open countryside define the place, which functions as a rural community rather than a tourist hub.
