Fuglsø

Fuglsø sits on the Mols peninsula in eastern Djursland, where gentle glacial hills roll down to the Kattegat coast. The village is small and scattered, wrapped in the undulating terrain that makes Mols Bjerge National Park one of Denmark's finest walking landscapes. From the ridges, sweeping views open over Ebeltoft Bay and the sea, while trails wind through heath, grassland and ancient oak woods. The area is celebrated for its rich wildlife and flora, and for the large Fuglsøcentret, which draws visitors for courses, camps and outdoor life. This is a place for cycling, swimming and long walks in nature, with the nearby towns of Ebeltoft and Femmøller offering history, charm and local food. Quiet and unhurried, Fuglsø makes an ideal base for anyone wanting to experience Mols' distinctive blend of coast, hills and dark, star-filled skies.
