Uggerby is a tranquil coastal village in Vendsyssel, at the northern tip of Jutland, where the Uggerby River winds through dunes before emptying into the Skagerrak. Far from the crowds, it is prized for its wide, wind-swept beach, backed by rolling sand dunes and the sheltering pines of Uggerby Klitplantage. The broad strand is popular with families, kite-flyers and beach anglers, and cars are allowed to drive out onto the firm sand in summer.
