Selde lies in the northern part of the Salling peninsula in Skive Municipality, just a stone's throw from the calm waters of the Limfjord. The village is surrounded by rolling fields and open meadows, where the flat farming landscape meets the fjord's shore. At its heart stands Selde Kirke, a whitewashed medieval church that has watched over the parish for centuries. The area is defined by stillness, wide skies and a strong sense of local community. From Selde it is a short hop to the ferry across to the volcanic island of Fur and to the Sallingsund Bridge, which links Salling with Mors. Walking routes and quiet gravel lanes invite gentle strolls along the coast, where the light over the Limfjord shifts beautifully through the day.
