Sandager is a quiet village and parish on the western side of the island of Funen, tucked into the gentle farmland near the market town of Assens. Life here moves at a rural pace, framed by hedgerows, open fields and winding country lanes that eventually reach the shores of the Little Belt. At its heart stands Sandager Church, a whitewashed medieval building whose tower has watched over the parish for centuries.
