Ring

Ring is a small village in the rolling hills of Central Jutland, set between Brædstrup and Horsens amid gently undulating fields, hedgerows and scattered farmsteads. The village gave its name to the old Ring parish, and the whitewashed Ring Church, with its distinctive tower, stands as the natural focal point of the community. The surroundings are defined by a quiet agricultural landscape, where gravel tracks and narrow lanes wind through hilly terrain near the broad catchment of the Gudenå river. Here you sense a Denmark without haste: birdsong, cultivated soil and long views across the soft contours of the Lake District. Ring is well suited to a slow drive, a bike ride or a walk that brings you close to village life and the countryside of Central Jutland. From Ring it is a short distance to the facilities of Brædstrup and to the beautiful lakelands around Silkeborg and Skanderborg, making the village a peaceful base for excursions.
