Lønholt is a small village in Fredensborg Municipality in leafy North Zealand, surrounded by rolling fields, hedgerows and scattered patches of woodland. Farms and a handful of houses line the narrow country roads, where the pace is slow and the landscape opens wide toward the horizon. Positioned centrally between Fredensborg, Hillerød and Helsingør, Lønholt offers short drives to some of North Zealand's best-known attractions. To the east lies Fredensborg Palace with its baroque gardens, to the west Hillerød and the magnificent Frederiksborg Castle, and the whole region is celebrated for its royal heritage and manor-house landscapes.
