Lindå

Lindå is a small village in the rolling hills of East Jutland, north of Aarhus and close to Løgten and Skødstrup in Aarhus Municipality. Here you meet a quiet Denmark of scattered farms, open fields and hedgerows, where country lanes wind through a gently undulating landscape down towards Aarhus Bay. The area carries the mark of fertile East Jutland moraine country, and from the higher ground views open over cultivated fields and distant tree lines. Lindå sits within easy reach of both the coast and Aarhus, so the city's museums, harbour district and café life are simple to visit while you stay amid open countryside. It is a place for travellers seeking calm, cycling and walking along minor roads, and a sense of ordinary Danish rural life. Spring and summer suit the region best, when the rapeseed blooms and the northern light stretches long into the evening.
