Flintinge

Flintinge is a small rural village in southern Denmark, set amid the gently rolling farmland of Guldborgsund Municipality on Lolland. Tucked between the market town of Nykøbing Falster and the shores of the Guldborgsund strait, it offers a quiet slice of the Danish countryside, where hedgerows, open fields and scattered farmsteads define the landscape. The little Flintinge Å stream winds through the area, feeding the meadows and adding to the region's calm, pastoral character. Life here moves at an unhurried pace, and the village makes a peaceful base for exploring the wider Lolland-Falster region, with its beaches, sugar-beet fields and big skies. Cyclists and walkers appreciate the flat, easy terrain and the network of quiet country lanes. Though small and unassuming, Flintinge captures the understated charm of provincial Denmark — a place of rural quiet close to the coast and to everyday South Zealand life.
