Erslev

Erslev is a small village set centrally on the island of Mors in the Limfjord, in north-western Jutland. It rests among the rolling fields and gentle hills that are typical of Morsø, breathing the calm, rural atmosphere for which the island is known. The whitewashed Erslev Church rises above the houses and bears witness to the area's long history. From here the many sights of Mors are within easy reach: the fossil-rich moler cliffs at Hanklit, the wooded Legind Bjerge and the main town of Nykøbing Mors with its harbour and shops. Erslev makes a peaceful base for cycling and walking through an open fjord landscape, where the light over the water shifts hour by hour. Visitors find here the quiet Danish country idyll of farms, close neighbours and views across the bright surface of the Limfjord.
